Website privacy
Your visit, your choice.
The Hybrid Leader is a static website. Its Decision Lab exercises run in your browser without an account. We do not send your scenario choices or typed reflections to our servers.
Website operator
Operator identification and privacy contact are pending confirmation before public release. This preview notice is not yet a complete legal privacy policy.
Hosting and necessary processing
The site and its images are delivered by Vercel. As part of serving and securing a website, the hosting provider can process technical request data such as IP address, request time and browser information. This is separate from your optional analytics choice. See Vercel's privacy notice.
Optional Google Analytics 4
Only after you select Accept analytics, the website loads the Google Analytics 4 tag to measure page views. We manually send the page title and URL path, without URL query strings or fragments. Google may also collect technical information associated with the request and use first-party analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. The default expiry for these cookies is up to two years, depending on tag settings and browser limits. We do not send your Decision Lab choices, reflections or reports as custom analytics events.
Google Analytics is configured to deny advertising storage and advertising personalization in the website tag. With our basic opt-in implementation, no Google Analytics tag is intended to load before consent or after rejection. See Google's GA4 cookie documentation and Google's privacy policy.
Changing your choice
We save your analytics preference in this browser's local storage under thl.analytics-consent.v1: acceptance for 12 months and rejection for 6 months, unless you change your choice or clear your browser data sooner. Once the preference expires, we ask again. You can reopen the choices using Analytics settings on any page. Rejecting after acceptance disables further measurement, attempts to remove this website's accessible GA cookies, and reloads the current page to unload the tag. It does not erase past events already received by Google. Every page and exercise remains available without analytics consent.
Recipients, transfers, retention and your rights
Google provides the analytics service and may process information outside the European Economic Area under applicable data-protection arrangements. Before public launch, the website operator must confirm and publish the applicable legal basis, full controller identity/contact, retention configurations, transfer information and instructions for exercising data-protection rights. Google Analytics retention and advertising settings may apply to the whole Analytics property, including the separate Substack stream.
Reading and subscribing to the publication takes place separately at Substack, which provides its own privacy controls.
